South Wales-based manufacturer and supplier of electrical and manual furniture Suite Options Limited, trading as Recliners, has been acquired by a seating industry counterpart.
Swansea-based Seminar Components has acquired a majority shareholding in Suite Options Limited, trading as Recliners, which is located in Pentre in the South Wales Valleys.
The acquisition marks a significant step forward in securing the futures of both Seminar Components and Recliners.
“By uniting our expertise, we aim to enhance our ability to innovate and maintain high standards in delivering top-quality seating solutions,” a statement said.
“Our partnership with Seminar Components will only enhance our capacity to support and deliver value to our clients.”
Recliners was founded in 2003 with directors including John Davies, Matthew Davies and David Lewis. Seminar’s acquisition was aided by DJM Solicitors and Bevan Buckland Accountants.
Managing director Steve Hale said: “The Recliner range of products and management team is an exciting addition to Seminar Components, which I believe will benefit both our customers and help grow our specialist seating offering in the UK, Europe, and beyond.”
