Office furniture wholesaler TC Group has reported a decline in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2024, total sales fell 8.6% to £39.3m from £43m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £938,000, down from £1.5m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “The results for the year ended 30 April 2025 were in line with expectations and reflect the challenging wider economic environment and market conditions which have negatively impacted business confidence and investment. Turnover for the year was £39.3m; EBITDA was £1.8m and the profit before taxation was £0.9m.

“We continue to invest in our IT infrastructure to increase efficiency and invest in our product offering to ensure we continue to deliver a comprehensive range of product and services to meet our customers’ needs.

“The group continues to identify and implement cost saving and efficiency initiatives which ensures we are well placed to manage both current and future economic and market conditions.”
