The group behind furniture mobility specialists Oak Tree has reported sales of almost £25m as profit reached £2m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 29 February 2024, total sales reached £24.7m compared to £63.7m, although this was over an extended 18-month comparative period. Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.9m.
Stated within its report, the company, which also owns RG42 Ltd, a manufacturer of riser recliner chairs, said: “The directors are pleased to report a very successful year of trading with the group making an operating profit of £2.05m.
“The strong group performance is due to both subsidiaries performing very well and driving through numerous business improvement and efficiency initiatives. It is the directors opinion that these improvements are now embedded in the business and will continue to benefit the business moving forward.”
