Furniture wholesaler Julian Bowen has announced the appointment of Steve Breen as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Steve will officially join the business on 20th January 2025 and initially work alongside Emmett Lenaghan, the current CEO, during a transition period. Emmett will be retiring following the transition period but will remain involved in the company as a shareholder and adviser.

Steve Breen brings a wealth of experience to Julian Bowen, having held senior leadership positions at Vitra Bathrooms, Ideal Standard, Finning and Electrolux. Most recently, Steve has been Managing Director at Vitra Bathrooms where he has been leading the business through an ambitious multi-year strategic growth plan.
